HYDRA is a private sauna space that is brought into being by an intense material study of the properties and characteristics of copper. Historically used as delivery routes for hydraulic transfer, copper is a unique and ‘living’ material that changes in appearance over time. The use of the material on this project is meant to imbue not only this hydraulic awareness, but also a mythical sense of the passage of time.
